Most cleaning companies don't inspect. They assume their crews are doing the job and wait for a complaint to find out otherwise. By then, the client is already frustrated.
At EC, every account gets a formal quality inspection at least once a month. Higher-risk accounts — new clients, buildings with recent complaints, or high-visibility facilities — get checked weekly or more.
During an inspection, a Quality Manager scores the facility on cleanliness, checklist completion, and overall presentation. Results go into our quality system and are available to the client on request.
If a score drops, we don't wait. We increase inspection frequency, retrain the assigned cleaner, and follow up until the problem is resolved. Not because we're required to — because it's the right thing to do.
That's what accountability looks like in practice.
