Why We Don't Use Subcontractors

A lot of cleaning companies win contracts and then send in whoever is available that night. They use subcontractors — independent workers they don't directly manage, train, or background-check. Costs stay low. Quality is unpredictable.

EC doesn't work that way. Every person on our team is a W-2 employee. We hire them. We train them. We manage them. And we assign them permanently to specific accounts so they actually know the building they're cleaning.

Why does this matter to you? Because accountability only exists when there's a named person responsible for your facility — not a rotating pool of workers who've never set foot in your building before.

Your assigned cleaner knows where everything is, what your priorities are, and what your facility manager expects. When something's off, we know exactly who to talk to.
